The emergent field of Biodesign blurs imagining and world-making with living systems; furniture that breathes, garments that grow, and food systems that self-sustain – it is the design of the living, for the living, and with the living.
Biodesign Collective invite fellow humans to explore a world in which our day-to-day lives intertwine in symbiosis with one another, fellow earthlings, and living systems of the earth. From the objects in our homes to the food on our plates, to our relationships and policies, they aim to prototype a mundane that nurtures themselves and their communities, human and beyond.

Living with the Living showcases projects that explore the integration of living systems into everyday objects. Working in collaboration with microbes such as algae, fungi, and bacteria, they challenge conventional paradigms and invite you to embark on a journey into a parallel paradigm where our daily lives coexist with nurturing living systems and communities.

Living with the Living welcomes you to participate in this ongoing conversation:
What does it look and feel like if we reunite with nature, and what are the signals pointing to this future?
How do we empower, liberate, and reconnect with nature?
What lost futures might we find again through this reunion?

They are organising interludes and conversations to ferment more questions and gather diverse perspectives on these topics. Keep an eye on our Instagram for updates on dates and guests.

Their workshops will:
Share practical skills for nurturing living systems, inclusive arts, and transformative rituals.
Explore bio-practices like crafting living fabrics, bio-materials, moss printing, and urban greening.
Curate dining experiences that challenge food cultures, from mushroom coffee to plant-based world cultures.
Foster collective empowerment through activities such as bread-making, questioning norms, and more.
