Curated by Zarna Hart(@zarnahart)

24/7 brings together seven Royal College of Art 2022 alumni in a diverse and thought provoking exhibition curated by Zarna Hart.
24/7 references the artists’ continuous thought processes and the endless nature of repurposing to explore new narratives.
24/7 explores the conceptual themes of coexistence and ownership.

In their various pieces, the seven artists are taking inspiration from the discarded, undertaking material explorations and referencing past lives. These intense, emotionally charged works are embodying an uneasy resolution for the challenges we face together.
The artists will present sculptural work in ceramics, glass and wall based multimedia assemblages in an exhibition curated by fellow RCA alumni Zarna Hart, founder of 3rd Wrld, an art gallery and cultural platform.
24/7 is delighted to announce that the artist Natasha Fontenelle will be taking up residency in the space during the five-week exhibition with “RESIDENCY 7 – Painting and Performance” where she will work, make and exhibit directly from the space using unwanted fabrics and materials – she invites public collaboration, participation, donation and documentation.

The groups is planning that the visiting public will be invited to participate with the artists in mending and reassembling the collection of imperfect or broken objects brought by the artists and donated by groups of artists in the local community. This will occur during sessions each day of the exhibition. Groups from local Stratford based organisations such as UAL, The Mary Ward, Hibiscus community centre and Saddlers Wells will be invited as contributors and working partners in the process of collaborative “mending” sessions.
