For the closing evening of No Smoke Without ___ , the exhibition space will shift to spotlight live performances from Eleni Papazoglou, Sofia Connors and buny. Performances will start from 5.30pm.

Eleni Papazoglou offers a performative reading about being part of a larger body. Sofia will be performing one part of a multidisciplinary project called COMPLETE TURN ON  that uses experience, angels and organic matter to ask why some of us have been so profoundly turned off and what can be done about it. buny shares ‘ja ja xa xa levin tak lesim’ienne noç barekit : sor muvinget gasim rondulas Pamela kaftas.’ [buny 30 minutes, Eleni 12 minutes Sofia unknown]

After the performances, visitors will be able to enjoy the exhibition No Smoke Without _ _ _ by Avril Corroon, Bianca Hylwa and Lydia Wong, which initially opened at the start of December 2021.

NO SMOKE WITHOUT _ _ _ _ is an exhibition of sculpture, film and drawing by Avril Corroon, Bianca Hlywa and Lydia Wong. Included works contain materials which have gone through state changes: bacteria and yeast, damp from people’s houses and abstracted crabs. Transformative gestures are used to reflect on concerns, which are redefined and reclaimed in new light. The artists work around political erasure, the cost of living crisis and housing conditions or steadfast distinctions between life and non- life.

This exhibition was awarded to the participants based on an open call put forward by the arts organisation and charity HYPHA Studios.
