COLOUR+ MOVEMENT a photography, film & installation exhibition showcasing a new body of work by @anna_fearon Exploring movement as a form of self expression and resistance in response to colourscapes in collaboration with Black dancers across the diaspora.
Hand printed Colour film photography of dancers responding to the hand dyed fabrics creating a tactile colourscapes for the dancers to freely move within. Film installation screening digital & vhs. Installation of hand dyed and painted fabrics in natural oxides, dyes and synthetic. Exploring the tactility of hand processing across art, film and dance.
The installation will be a colourscape of draped fabrics, photography and film creating a space that evokes a sense of play and encourage free movement within the space. An exhibition that is open to all and free to attend.
Special performances and curated events throughout the exhibition to be announced.
