Floral Sculpture with Air Dry Clay
Session will be delivered by David Booth Member of the Royal Society of Sculptors.
You will be given some air-dry clay to create floral form. Each participant will create one floral form based on the size of a paper party plate and another floral piece based on a ‘pizza slice’ shape so that we can combine the participants work together to display.
We will view our results on a lazy-suzan to look at each creation in the round. We will discuss what considerations a sculptor makes. Discuss what different materials would do to our sculptures.
The session is supported and funded by Arts Council England and so the 8 places can be offered for FREE and are on first come basis.
All art Materials provided: You will be supported through the whole creative process and all materials will be provided. No previous experience of sculpture is required and all abilities are welcome!
