Cardboard props from the recent community theatre project “Willow” (funded by London Borough of Newham) will be broken down, shredded and formed into pulp, from which we invite people to have a go at making paper, abstract art and 3D objects. Attendees will discover how to make paper at home by recycling card, paper or sawdust, using natural dyes to colour the paper and experimenting with adding other materials such as wildflower seeds. We will also experiment with making textured artworks. Guidance will be given but attendees will also be encouraged and supported to find their own ways to use the material.
