/The Social Dilemma_ : Documentary Screening and Discussions

Join @ellengilbert_ at @futures_after exhibition for an in person screening of the Social Dilemma. A creative documentary-drama hybrid which explores the dangerous human impact of social networking. Tech experts and silicon valley insiders sound the alarm on their own creations and reveal how social media is reprogramming civilisation.

Followed by an open discussion focused on how we operate as artists in the digitally networked world and in what way can we rethink how we navigate within these systems to overcome the disadvantages presented to further benefit our well being and art practices?

As artists, what are the consequences of our growing dependence on social media?

How has the accelerating growth of digital technology within our lives changing how creatives work and navigate together within the art-world?

Can you be an artist and not be on instagram/social media in 2022?

If you are a creative, artist or work within the art industry RSVP via the eventbrite link in @ellengilbert_ ‘s BIO!
