*Hot Wheels of Karma* is a group exhibition, showing works by seven artists who are primarily based in sculpture.
*Hot Wheels of Karma* draws parallels between various forms of resistance in making sculpture. With a shared frustration for tropes of sculptural expression, often defined as feminine, they instead show the slapstick karma within objects, revealing disobedience and provocation.
The window box space unveils scenes of gliding casts, reliefs and intertwining bodily poses. The fiery wheels of fury are balanced with harmonic and gentle illusory forms, caught in moments of paradox and transience to be explored.
Text included in the show by Lu Rose Cunningham.
