We support various creatives, including visual artists, curators, musicians, actors, dancers, and choreographers, by offering free temporary or permanent studio space to eliminate financial barriers to creating. Each placement comes with a mentorship or career development session to expand networks and enhance professional growth.

While the space is free, a holding deposit is required for each site allocated. Currently, you’re responsible for your materials, but we assist with marketing your work.

Selection process

We welcome applications from all creative practitioners. Following an initial review, we present a shortlist to a selection panel comprising trustees and a cultural partner. Your application’s success is based on careful attention to the application form and guidelines. Focus areas include your intended use of the space, its impact on your practice, and your proposed public program (such as talks, workshops, performances, tours, etc.) aimed at engaging local communities and broadening your audiences.
