‘INTERNET CAFE’ is a tribute to the novelties that have quietly slipped away—the last meal we fed our Tamagotchi, the final Hot Fuzz VHS rental, the dial-up tones that once promised connection. It cherishes the small cultural rituals we didn’t realise were ending, asking what is lost when technological progress redraws the landscape of our lives.

Through sculpture, installation and participatory events, the exhibition explores nostalgia and obsolescence while reflecting on how the internet has accelerated the disappearance of once-cherished objects and habits. Set within the playful postmodern architecture of Gallery 1, ‘INTERNET CAFE’ becomes both a site of mourning and of celebration: a gathering for remembering what we’ve left behind, and for considering how our fleeting digital culture shapes the way we live, connect, and remember.
