Wilkes Academy degree course in Musical Theatre prepares students for professional success through comprehensive and practically focused training in acting, singing, and dance. The course is designed to build both technical ability and creative confidence across a wide range of performance disciplines.

In Hypha Project Space Swindon, the Wilkes Academy will engage with the existing student body while also reaching out to the local community through a series of public-facing performances.

Activities will include:

• A traditional performance of mini pantomimes
• A selection of mini musicals
• A variety of community-based creative company performances
• Musical-based revues
• Rehearsals for productions

By inviting local schools and nursing home residents to attend, these performances provide not only vital real-world experience for students but also meaningful opportunities to share the joy of live theatre with audiences of all ages.
