Brothers In Art presents its debut collective exhibition, ‘Liminality’, showcasing the diverse creative practices of 56 London-based artists from the Black diaspora. Spanning painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, installation, audio/visual work, graffiti, design, curation, and architecture, the exhibition unites a multiplicity of disciplines and perspectives, reflecting the rich cultural and conceptual contexts each artist brings.

‘Liminality’ explores thresholds, transitions, and the in-between spaces of experience, inviting visitors to engage critically and sensorially with the work. Beyond traditional display, the collective interrogates how art is experienced—how space, architecture, and presentation shape perception—creating a dynamic, responsive environment. Sculptures, installations, and other non-wall-based works will complement visual art, highlighting the collective’s breadth and experimentation.

The exhibition is both a public introduction to Brothers In Art and a collaborative learning opportunity for the collective. By responding to an iconic gallery space, the group aims to craft an exhibition that resonates with its architecture while celebrating the diversity, innovation, and dialogue at the heart of their practice.

This debut marks a significant moment for the collective, offering audiences a chance to experience a vibrant, multi-disciplinary exploration of identity, community, and creative expression.
