Curated by the Tendere Collective, in this exhibition each artist will create works during the installation period as well as throughout the exhibition period in raw, unfired clay.

Our group works in sculpture, with clay being a primary medium. Artists like Clare Twomey and Phoebe Cummings have worked with institutions like National Sculpture Factory (Cork), Tate Modern, and Art Basel. Many of us intentionally play with the material properties of clay to inform the concepts explored in artworks. For example, artists Cristiano Di Martino, Benjamin Orlow, and Phoebe Cummings highlight the fragility of the material in their works while Unu Sohn utilizes the characteristic of porosity and JP Guerrier implements the sonic quality of ceramics in his practice.
