Free art studios /project spaces /rehearsal rooms for 3 groups – we want to allocate one floor per group of this 30,000 sq ft office block.

We are looking for 3 groups of creatives that are looking for free studio or rehearsal space in or around Edinburgh. There are 3 floors which are each approximately 10,000 sq ft. We will need to understand how you will fully use the space. Initial period of 6 months but it will extend – subject to reviews every 3 months to ensure the space is being used properly.

The site will be used for free – in return you might want to organise some public- facing events as part of your occupation. This could be workshops, talks or anything which supports your creative practices, but these spaces are less public facing than our other shop fronts, so there will be less public engagement.

We will prioritise those that cannot afford exhibition or studio space. We are committed to supporting creatives and communities most in need & will prioritise creatives who declare they are struggling – whether financially, mentally or physically.

You will be expected to pay a deposit, have your own Public Liability Insurance, buy the necessary fire extinguishers and have any electrical items PAT tested.
