Ashford Theatre Society are an award-winning amateur
theatrical group who are best known for producing Ashford’s
Annual Family Pantomime each January, as well as their
renowned musicals and cabaret evenings.
They produce an annual family pantomime for Ashford which we currently perform at Christ Church Hall in Ashford. This is something that since 2010 they’ve written, produced, built the sets, directed, choreographed etc themselves. They are currently working on their summer musical Legally Blonde. The group has won 5 awards from the National Operatic and Dramatic Society including 3 awards for best pantomime 3 years running.
They will continue their pantomimes, musicals and cabaret evenings in the space. They will alsoopen theatre workshops for the local community so that children and adults can get involved in improvisation, dance and singing. If successful these will be turned into mini-shows that could be shown in local care homes and community centres.
