Open: 5 June – 11 July 2026
invasive species is an exploration of the subtle yet potent forces that seep into our psyches, compelling us to absorb, digest, and process what often isn’t ours. Drawing on Surrealism, mysticism, the natural world, and the psycho-sensory, the exhibition examines where the visceral and the cerebral converge, diverge, and slip into tension with one another.
The project considers the mind and body as archival vessels, tracing the dissonance between our inner and outer worlds. Spanning site-specific installation and performance, painting, sculpture, sound, scent, and moving image, invasive species stages a sequence of interventions and encounters that at once construct realities and fracture the sense of self, revealing how existential yet universal states of desire, dreams, pain, pleasure, and anxiety rupture the porousness of being.
Beyond its conceptual framework, the exhibition supports emerging artists whose experimental approaches generate new knowledge and alternative modes of production. Throughout its duration, the space will transform into a site of accessible cultural engagement and exchange, presenting innovative programming that reimagines how multisensory experiences can deepen collective consciousness.
