Exhibition

curated by Hyella

Hypha Gallery South Bank, 42 Southwark Bridge Rd, London, SE1 9EU

PV: Thursday, 25th June 2026, 6 – 9pm
Open: 26th June – 26th July 2026

Hyella will show a new iteration of a bio-sonic listening device installation that explores listening as a collaborative process between atmosphere, microbial and fungal metabolic systems. The space will be used as both a living laboratory and a deep listening and exhibition environment. The exhibition will be supported by the cultivation of resonant biomaterials and slow, process-based experimentation with living matter, with a multi-scale bio-sonic installation alongside an audiovisual process work from Hyella’s mundos invisibles. The project will also host human-and-non-human gatherings, inviting visitors to participate and explore new ways of connecting with the atmosphere.

Public Programme:
– Guided listening experiences with the bio-sonic installation
– Artist talk
– Live sound or music performances
– Hands-on workshops focused on care, listening, and more-than-human collaboration.

These events will invite local communities to engage with living systems through sound, attention, and collective practice. The programme will be free and accessible, with visual and audio documentation shared online to extend its reach.
