Hypha Gallery Camberwell, Cornerstone PT3, 1 Addington Square, SE5 7JZ
PV: Thursday 6th February 2025, 6-9pm
Open: 7th February – 16th March 2025, Monday, Wednesday, Friday (12 PM – 6 PM), Saturday (12 PM – 6 PM)
Enter (once again!) into a colourful, escapist world of ultimate creative expression: “InterAct” brings together a talented, unique
collective of contemporary artists, designers, engineers, software developers, video and AI artists working in the cross-fields and cross-disciplines of traditional art, paintings, sculptures, installations, digital art, technology, textile design, science and performance.
Inspired by the curators’ trip to the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2024 (noticing the gallery’s sign which read “It Is Forbidden To Touch Any 1 Exhibit”) (see Left Image, Royal Academy of Arts), “InterAct” seeks to transform the traditional art-viewing experience. The goal of the exhibition is to connect the artwork, artist (and visitor) – breaking conventional art world
barriers through innovative materials as well as participatory, sustainable and multi-sensory installations.
Exhibition Programme:
Throughout this five-week exhibition, “InterAct” will feature a Private View/Opening Night, Curator’s Talk/Tour and Performance Night to further engage with the Camberwell community. The show will strive to bring these imaginative artworks to the forefront of the London art scene. Art is not just two-dimensional; it exists in three-dimensional, four-dimensional (and even infinite worlds)! In today’s socio-political climate, it is now more important than ever to look toward other artistic communities and ‘schools of thought’ to expand our current world perspectives.
