Collectively the group’s  practices involve painting, sculpture, video, virtual reality and publishing. Their work imagines and explores the idea of femininity beyond the body and beyond the human. Some of them have exhibited or worked together previously but this project will be the first which brings them all together.  They will put on a group show “Sickly Sweet Revenge”.

The launch event will include an artists’ talk where we will explore our theme and practices in conversation. They will also produce a panel discussion open to the public, featuring a publisher, novelist and one of the artists, the panel will examine femininity beyond the body in visual arts and literature. They will also host a workshop for young women and femmes, creating a space for them to express what they would like to seek revenge for.
