Artists Futures Fund’s annual showcase, curated by Hannah Wallis, artist, curator and chair for Artists Now. Tender Vessels celebrates the 2025 – 26 Breakthrough Artist Fellows with an exhibition presenting new bodies of work from some of the UK’s most exciting emerging artists.
Spotlighting a new generation of voices shaping the cultural landscape, each artist brings a distinctive body of work to the exhibition whilst highlighting a series of commonalties between them, of autonomy, both embodied and geographical, fragmentation, discomfort, tactility, and transformation; drawing out reflections of imbalance, absurdity and the vulnerability of memory.

“At a time when emerging artists urgently need space, time and meaningful opportunities to be seen, Tender Vessels demonstrates what can be achieved through sustained, direct support for artists and meaningful partnership. We are incredibly proud to bring the work of eight exceptional artists to the heart of London during Frieze week, creating a platform for their distinctive practices, ideas and voices to reach new audiences.”- Olivia Mason, Director of Artists Futures Fund

About Artists Futures Fund

Founded in 1810 under Royal Charter, Artists Futures Fund (registered charity no. 270585) supports talented emerging visual artists whose creative development is limited by significant socio-economic, mental or physical health barriers. Through its Breakthrough Artist Fellowship, the charity provides sustained, direct support at a pivotal stage in an artist’s practice. Fellows receive an unrestricted stipend, dedicated studio space, mentoring, professional development and opportunities to exhibit and build new networks. The programme is delivered in strategic partnership with higher and further education institutions across England and Wales.
