1 Poultry, City of London,
3 x free exhibition spaces

1 Poultry, London EC2R 8EN

We are looking for artists & curators for our brand new gallery hub in the City of London, launching Frieze Week 2025

This is a unique opportunity to organise an exhibition in one of the world’s most important postmodern buildings, designed by architect James Stirling & completed in 1997.

Gallery 1 & 3 are rotating contemporary curated exhibition spaces.
Gallery 2 is offered in collaboration with art/architecture publication recessed.space & we are looking for architects or artists to propose projects that speak to the built environment or perhaps the history of No. 1 Poultry itself.

Measurements

Gallery 1: 330 sqm/ 3500 sqft
Gallery 2: 130 sqm/ 1400 sqft
Gallery 3:
150 sqm/ 1600 sqft

You will need to apply as a group with a lead artist or curator.

The site will be awarded to you for free & in return you will organise some public-facing events alongside your exhibition – these could be workshops, talks or anything which supports your creative practices.

PLEASE NOTE:

We will prioritise those that cannot afford exhibition or studio space & we are committed to supporting creatives & communities most in need.
