Seeds, an exhibition and public facing event series exploring the relationship between humanity and nature.
Through the work of fourteen artists, visitor participation and a series of events and workshops Seeds aims to ignite discussions, ideas and actions that will encourage our collective environmental consciousness to grow. The exhibition brings together a selection of works of a variety of mediums; ceramics, illustration, painting, photography, publications, sculpture and sound. Each work investigates a unique area of the human-nature nexus.
Workshops and events for all ages will run throughout the duration of the exhibition. These will be hosted by exhibiting artists, local communities, creative groups and charities to expand the depth of our exploration.
The workshop and event sign up will be published on 1st September 2023.

ABOUT THE CURATOR:
Vickie Amiralis is a British/Greek artist currently living and working in Buckinghamshire, U.K. Amiralis works predominantly in sculpture and media arts as well as developing curatorial projects. Her work juxtaposes the natural and the industrial whilst investigating human relationships with materials and landscapes. Amiralis has a background of curating and collaborating with artists and musicians on international projects and publications. In 2023 she launched an independent studio A Dozen Figs, aiming to bring artists together through events and residencies. Since 2020, Amiralis has been part of the Global Advisory Board for charity In Place of War.
By hosting workshops, talks, discussions, readings, screenings and other activities Vickie will connect to local audiences and create a safe space for individuals and groups to build confidence discussing aspects of the arts and current topics as well as making work within workshops. Giving the audience freedom to explore new mediums, discover new abilities and meet others within the local communities.
We offer free temporary project space or more permanent studio space to remove the financial obstacles from displaying and making work.
